That only delays the problem, doesn't fix it, sadly. Chinese firms understand capitalism better than the west imo, so once they have a large market share, they will likely pull off the same shit.
Still, for now, they are probably the better option.

Very good point and I think I have proof. You can already see them inserting ads in their low budget phones
