That is not what I'm saying. I'm saying that the US as well as certain other western countries are so obsessed and overreacting to anything made by the Chinese. Like the EV's for example. Most of the world is now letting go of prejudice and import multiple brands of of Chinese EV's. They actually pass European safety standards unlike the cyber truck. The only country now that keeps limiting its choice for its citizens, is the US. And using spying as an excuse to enrich the establishment.

Of course all countries spy. But the thought of putting spyware in memory chips is a stretch. Just costwise it's not feasible.

If they would get rid of these terrible open plan offices, where people can hear the silent fart you try to squeeze out gently, and go back to offices where you at least would have a smidgen of privacy, this would improve office attendance.

Unfortunately because of the wonderful policies by sequential US governments, US citizens will not be able to buy Chinese chips because obviously the chips will spy on you just like Chinese EV's, routers, phones, toasters, drones, etc. But all the good things by American tech companies whom totally respect your privacy, like Google scrapping all spirit airlines communication, or Flock camera drones, is just fine.

F1 fanbase is so terribly polarized these days. Especially on reddit. Apparently you can only like one driver and hate the rest but one the most - looking at you George. I think a lot of this comes from the new 'fans' who only watch DTS and have no real clue or care about the history and development of the sport. Now I must say as a follower for one 20 years, I don't like the new autodrive cars, I do hate MBS, and the direction the liberty media is going.

Edit: the thing I hate the most is that the removed the 3 decimal places on the timing sheets, but only for the main race. For P1, P2, P3 and qualifying it is still OK. That is the dumbest dumb down ever in the sport.

Wait till you read Trump tweet or truth or whatever that shit is called, when this is finally his turn.

The American technology giant wanted to cool the new data center with water from the nearby river. The data center, which is almost complete, retains its air cooling system. The Walloon administration for Waterways had previously given a positive advice, after which the amended permit was granted.

But after investigation, Desquesnes, the Minister for Spatial Planning, decided to refuse the permit as a precaution. According to him, the current drought in Wallonia and the consequences of climate change cause too much uncertainty. “I don't want to commit myself to a hydrological context that is changing dramatically”, he explained Le Soir.

The minister says he has insufficient certainty that the Walloon Region can continue to bear the requested water consumption in the coming years. “There is a risk that the responsibility of the Region, including financially, will be jeopardized.”

Google confirms that it analyzing the decision. The company can appeal the minister's decision to the Council of State.

I was just wondering about bluesky. I joined a while back but never actually used it. Than some article came out that they also are planning to monetize bluesky and that was it for me. It just never got the traction or engagement as unfortunately Twitter (which I also never used)

You mean the US I assume. Except they did invade a neighboring country illegally remove a sitting president. Only to make the 12 billion dollars in revenue dissappear. https://www.cfr.org/articles/the-u-s-took-over-venezuelas-oil-industry-where-has-all-the-money-gone

But no, let's shit all over China being the bad entity in the world here.

Maybe reddit should not have banned users that have been on the platform for years, contributed heavily but got kicked out because they disagree with the current US regime. Spez sucks Trump's mushroom.

This will really help BMW to drive up their sales. I can't believe their sales increased in North America, whereas the sales dropped off the cliff in China. Not just BMW, all traditional car manufacturers got hammered.

I guess that's what happens if you are very limited in choice of cars (for clarification I meant the US of course).

Like everyone should play by the fucked up rules set by the US? It good that at least one major world power doesn't give a shit about America anymore. The US is forcing all countries to do the same. Europe is trying to break free of the US shackles, China just was first.

If you see how little ceremony there was for President Pedo compared to let's say the President of Uganda who visited recently - BTW China knows the correct name of each country in Africa unlike the clown show that is the US - you know how little respect they have.
