That was my question too. I almost started hating his parents as well for giving him such a shit name.
It's a pretty common welsh name, so australia and the UK have plenty of bryns.
That 'y' is a dead giveaway that it's welsh. Llewellyn is another one. The welsh for wales is cymru - "kimree".
