Is this AI? It just looks like a normal picture to me.
Unless he has some sort of prosthetics where the wrong hand ended up on the wrong arm.
That looks like his pinky to me. His left thumb is right here.
You can also see a ring on his ring finger, so that tracks with the pinky.
You may be right. I guess I hadn't looked closely enough.
It still doesn't rule it out admittedly, but yeah, I think it's just a weird angle either way. I did some searching for "professor X finds someone in overturned car", and "James McAvoy wheelchair behind the scenes" to try to find the shot, but I haven't had any luck.
edit: the smile does seem a bit perfect. It could even be a normal shot where someone just edited the expression. AI investigating is starting to feel like a losing battle.
Pull the meta data off the picture. If it was AI generated it will either say so or it will be entirely empty. Either one is as good as an admission.
it's clearly a screenshot of a screenshot. there will be no metadata.
