Most of us voted for this by not voting for the literally only other viable candidate and most of us are too bitch pussy to nut the fuck up and own the consequences of our actions. That's why most of us deserve what we're getting. 75 million Americans don't deserve this. The rest are getting what they voted for.
Harris has never even lied and pretended she is against the surveillance state or the military industrial complex. Did you want people to vote for Jill Stein? Write in Bernie during the primaries? You can vote for mask off fascism or you can vote for a respectable statesman who keeps the killing of brown people a bit quieter. How is that a viable option. Because you feel better stateside? Do you go on YouTube and comment on old Obama speeches about how you miss having a President who could speak in full sentences while he oversaw a campaign of mass terror, bailed out (FUNDED) global financial leeches, and did nothing to slow the consolidation of billionaire backed media and tech conglomerates because at the end of the day, he believes in this shit too?

I do not consider a teenager fresh to current events disagreeing with me on politics as much of a gotcha moment. If you’re older than I’ve guessed you should consider learning more before you try to transition into educating. If every single citizen of the united states who still has the right to vote casts a ballot for Kamala Harris, Palestine still burns, and Palantir still revolutionizes killing and incarcerating people elsewhere. But maybe there’s still pride at Target. Is that what you mean by viable?

Of course not. But that's not the only action I would suggest.
Get involved at the ground level. Meet with people from other county groups and run for things or support local candidates that you believe in. Meet with higher level groups and give them a heads up that the base is much more left than the top, and that we need more than lip service going forward.
We have to grab the party and haul it away from the money trough. Conservatives won't give up, neither should we.
What about all those little girls who had their school bombed, would they be dead too? Would the various humanitarian aid ngos still be defunded, directly leading to unnecessary death?
What a lazy argument. Just because the obvious better candidate didn't do everything you wanted, don't vote for them, even if they do some things better. Since they're not perfect, fuck them and let the fascist win. That's literally accelerationism, you just don't want to acknowledge the clear result of your position.

As it is, you're effectively running cover for the republicans with this accelerationist bullshit, because if the democrats would have done it, it doesn't matter that the republicans won. There are a LOT of arguments to make about how the democrats aren't nearly left enough and don't do enough for the people, try to find one instead of vomiting out this lazy and thoughtless argument that falls apart if you bother to think for 2 seconds.
My argument, were anyone interested in hearing it rather than themselves, would be that there is nothing magical about voting, which is just one of many forms of representation. Acting as though you have done the long hard work of democracy because you turn in a ballot every once in a while for local representatives you do not know and will never pressure is sad. You care more about institutional longevity than human suffering; you think democracy is regular elections not self governance. You will happily vote for the lesser of two evils because you don’t like how much work it would take to do even better than the options you are spoon fed by billionaires who would kill your neighbors if it improved the S&P by half a point. England is undermining trial by jury with secret judicial rulings. Guantanamo Bay still holds human beings “outside the law.” All across the “civilized” world, protests against this grotesque misrepresentation of the public will are subject to approval. Where is your evidence that you can vote this away? You hold back progress with this idea that you will be handed back your power if you are patient enough.
I stopped right here because clearly you're full of shit of you think not voting means you care about human suffering.
Voting is the bare minimum, and so many can't even do that. Community organization and mutual self aid are fantastic ways of using your time the other 1459 days of an election cycle, but if you can't be bothered to engage in voting and someone is elected that can destroy all the progress you made, you're set back drastically rather than you would have been otherwise. You are intentionally picking paths that lead to suffering, and you do your best to not acknowledge the immediate consequences of your actions and try to play it off like the obvious result of your actions was inevitable,rather than something you helped set up.
Yeah, I will vote for the lesser evil, because I'm not an accelerationist who doesn't care how many people are hurt in order to bring change. Justify it to yourself however you want, we don't care how virtuous you are when we're dying on the streets while you argue theory and feel smug about choices that objectively make millions of peoples' lives worse.

Sorry, a couple of notes and I’m out of your hair. The election cycle is not 1459 days unless you’re not voting; I’ve never called myself an accelerationist nor said I don’t vote for democrats down the ballot; don’t co-opt people who are dying on the streets if you are staying inside.
