There are couple of problems with EVs:

they lack any aesthetic (at least vast majority), they look like a toy or a modern appliance, plastic and cheap
they feel like 'go from A to B', soul-less
they have a constant uplink to a cloud with telemetry of my every move and every fart with no option to opt-out
no fucking physical buttons (some of them are just now pulling they head out their asses and reverting the design choice)
expensive, paying premium price for cheap feel
we don't really know how (un)reliable they are (there are a lot of new brands and new models)
infrastructure not ready in a lot of countries, and if you're living in an apartment building without a parking garage or charger nearby you're fucked

Other than that, yeah, they might be superior to an ICE cars.

Ps. I wouldn't be caught dead in Tesla. Fuck Mussk
