Not to defend them because I think it is a bullshit move, however, didn't GTAV also release first on consoles?

I had an Xbox 360 just for GTA 5. I bought a PS4 just for RDR2. I'm sure as hell not buying a PS5 for this.

Also there were planned DLC for GTA 5 single player that got axed once people started spending money online.

GTA has released first on consoles ever since GTA3. Every single one except 1 and 2, didn't come to PC for at least a year.
