US can ban Chinese cars from the US market. But all other markets are still lost.

The US is trying to get other economies to keep rules against Chinese EVs as well.

The Chinese are dumping EVs, but the cars are better value than any American/European option - often just straight up better. Tue only reason I have avoided buying one is lack of confidence in the long term stability of the manufacturers; that s evej considering that import duties where I live put them in the same price category as regionally manufactured models.
