You forget about the monoliths. The story behind them, and the film's ending, is kinda similar-ish to that of 'Interstellar'.
I did not forget about the Monoliths. How did you get that idea? And how is the story in the movie concerning them similar to having a dude throw books around in his daughter's room from a within a black hole?
In both films, the humanity is directed to space travel by aliens.
Which is entirely not what my issue with interstellar was.
