So much is getting better, social media and negativity bias in general is just making it seem like it's not.
Just for example, percentage of green energy is steadily rising. Even if it is not fast enough, that is still a constant improvement.
You were right recently, but here in the US, massively increased energy demands by data centers (which in 2026 are using more power globally than all of Canada) are often being driven by sources that would be outright illegal even where they are in the US. Technically allowed by being "temporary" onsite generation.
I've really been feeling dismal about this one the last few days.
