its old, not 2026, it's American they have a zillion banks and they're stuck in the 1990s with banking. I have an old cheque book as an antique from yesteryear here in Australia where cheques are no longer used. (EFT everywhere)

Some offices (not necessarily just banks) still want people to send documents by fax.
