The goal is to move gaming to "the cloud" as a part of their "You'll own nothing and like it" philosophy...

Step one is to make home gaming prohibitively expensive...

I don’t think it’s a primary goal. But I can imagine several gaming companies thinking this is a great side effect. Make everything cloud subscription service.

I love gaming, but I will give up gaming first...go back and play my old favorites... Been a while since I launched Crysis3. ;-)
