This is a most excellent place for technology news and articles.
If we always make the point that all they care about is money do we not think that thwre are excercises being done now to figure out if this was a net money maker? Which of course it wasn't. It is consequential.
I agree to break up big tech but its not like this is owned by apple either.
Same happens with google, they get fined for whatever and everyone points at their net worth as a means to argue for higher fines, which is sometimes relevant but a lot of the time the fine is more than they make from the specific breach.
Its like catching Capone on tax evasion and giving out he didnt get the chair. We know he is scum but today was about his taxes.
