I think Hyundai/Kia have relatively unintrusive driver assistance systems (so far).
I've driven a VW Golf that almost got me killed when the "smart" cruise control slammed on the brakes to "avoid" a car in the turning lane and a mate drives an Amarok that nags him to rest every few minutes because it doesn't like the shape of his eyes.
