What's the top one? I love me some vintage CGI
It's not vintage. It's literally in the theaters right now in China, released this year.
And it didn't cost, like, $230 thousand. It cost only $230 to make, by two part timers (a mother and her adult son).
By all accounts it's a terrible movie but people like how bad it is.
Niu Lai (2026). Full length movie that released this month and has grossed over $2m so far. Made by a mother and son.
Speaking of retro cgi, I loved insektors.
