I know it isn't meant as a warning and I would agree that Her isn't necessarily the best fit in this. However, I kind of perceived a cautionary side note about losing the grip on reality when interacting with an AI programmed to be as human as possible. Add to that OpenAI publishing a voice model with Scarlett Johansson's voice against her will and Sam Altman posting movie related tweets during the marketing campaign for that model (or rather the GPT version including the voice model) and I found it fitting into the meme again.
