The overhang on that snake’s head and the tail’s end not even touching the build plate is borderline impossible, also yellow and black yet only showing a printer that has one yellow roll and we think that the machine can’t swap filaments either. So unrealistic :P

Better gun laws in general would be a better approach. The odd ghost gun or 2 is probably just noise in the system.

Real glad I may have allegedly acquired a printer at some point in the last six years.

Allegedly.

It's a futile and stupid effort funded solely by Bloomberg: The destruction of 3D printing: Bloomberg is behind it - YouTube

This article is disgusting neoliberal disinformation because it hides this simple and easily provable fact. Probably frames it as a debate with pro and contra. But it's fundamentally moronic.

We can't depend on the government to protect us in dire situations.

We need guns. You know how I know that? If someone breaks into your house and starts threatening you with a knife, are they going to sit there and wait to be arrested just because you called 911?

Wtf is the point in this in the US when you can just go and pick up a gun from the road or a bush or someone's desk or whatever?

Do you know what happens if you fire ballistics from a 3d printed plastic or resin model?

This problem will solve itself in 90% of cases

I've never heard of 3d printed guns being involved in crimes or even really heard of them much at all.

This is just another way to remove peoples rights.
