Same advice with migraines. I hate when I explain I have them, I always get told it's cause I'm not drinking enough water.

Some days I drink enough water to make the hydrohomies community blush.

Let me tell you how depressed I am instead, and how much more justified my depression is, and how your situation is bullshit by comparison.

That'll cheer you up. Probably.

Have you tried 10g of powerful psychedelics?

Isn't cannabis a depressant?

Bullshit therapist speak, the same they try to pull with alcohol. They're physical CNS depressants, not emotional depressants. Yes, abusing either and disregarding everything else can certainly make depression worse instead of better, but taking either doesn't just depress you emotionally.

I'll second this treatment. This in combination with conventional medication, therapy, and making active choices in my life to improve my minute to minute experience. You know that stuff that mildly annoys you, but doesn't bother you enough to actually fix? Fix it ASAP, those experiences built up in me like poison, and I don't think that I'm that different from the average person. Regardless, weed and hiking was definitely the foundation.

"opens up about childhood trauma that came an inch short of being locked in a closet for 20 years or sold into sexual slavery.'

'i'm sure your parents tried their best.'

There also "you won't know if you don't talk about it at all", take a risk and maybe it will help.

What could go wrong?

Oh look, it's the Swedish healthcare system.

As a person who finally managed their anxiety after years of therapy and like 10 medications the best thing for me has been yoga and Mary Jane. I hate that my therapist was right about the yoga.
