Fun fact: there were actually times where railroads created train crashes as public attractions. One of the most well known is the Crush collision.

That’s crazy. I guess like the monster truck shows I remember as a kid in the 80s. SUNDAY SUNDAY SUNDAY!

My first question was about safety.

Unexpectedly, the impact caused both engine boilersto explode, resulting in a shower of flying debris that killed two people[1] and caused numerous injuries among the spectators.

And was that really so “unexpected” that they exploded?
