There are genuinely good use cases for them, just not what the hype machine has been driving

Using LLM's to replace your customer service department? Deserving of a high five, in the face, with a rake.
Agreed on the customer service department but I don't mind them replacing automated phone systems and making those painful experiences better. They're not replacing any jobs in that case.
