Because you've never watched Monty Python I'd bet.
You could've watched Monty Python and still read it in the Swedish Chef's accent.
I always read it in a Canadian accent, because I didn't know what Swedish people sounded like when I watched it as a kid, so I just assumed they sound like Canadians. As is reasonable...
Did it have anything to do with this?
