Just goes to show, game exclusivity on a shitty overpriced portable console is a bad business practice.
People would love to play Nintendo games on PC. Nintendo is screwing themselves with their arrogance and greed.
Nintendo is doing and will continue to do gangbusters. They’re the Apple of video games. They aren’t screwing themselves, just you.
Doing well, even exceptionally well, doesn’t mean that it’s the best possible scenario. Nintendo is leaving billions of dollars on the table due to their cultural obstinance.
They occupy a pretty unique space both economically and socially. It would be an mba move to have them try to diversify too hard. Getting them up to date on certain coding practices feels closer to helpful, from my pov
