I'm asking you a question; the exact opposite of making an assumption.

Lol. A reasonable conclusion to draw when someone asks a question is that they do not know the definite answer - thereby you must have assumed it is at least possible the quote is worthy of attribution, which is to no small degree flattering. I thank you for the compliment, as unintentional as it was.
