I wish my Sony DSLR has some open source firmware. I hate it has to use the Sony app to connect to the GPS on my phone. I hate that my phone sometimes put the app to sleep and I end up with no GPS info.

Yeah, it's infuriating how much potential they are leaving on the table here. My camera has a clock to put the correct time into the exif data, but it's not possible to set up the camera so that it does take a picture every few seconds or every few minutes. That should be possible right out of the box.

Omg, that pisses me off so much. I have to go into geosetters and update it again.

But no other camera is as good as the Sony mirrorless. At least not at this price point.
