I mean, why do you think they are targeting women in the first place?

[–] minorkeys@sh.itjust.works -1 points 2 days ago (15 children)

Other people are targetted as well, but we don't hear about them because the culture doesn't care. Women affected by something that changed so society needs to protect the helpless women, yet again.

Would you say women and men are targeted in equal proportions or that one group is targeted over the other based on "perceived value"? Like I am not saying you are wrong, I am just saying, "yes, and"

I would say all victims deserve a voice but we only seem to care about one.

@minorkeys
all victims would include women who are raising their voices against this. Still waiting on the “other” victims you are inferring. So rather than very much standing against “some” of the victims as you are very openly and plainly doing, perhaps lend your voice to help rather than harm.

That's the nature of patriarchy. Women are to be protected while most men are disposable.

[–] minorkeys@sh.itjust.works 1 points 2 days ago (1 children)

It isn't patriarchy, it's women protecting each other. Its matriarchy in a patriarchal trenchcoat.

That's a non-sequitur. A group of people banding together to protect themselves is not automarically an *archy. Nor does it follow they are secretly in control. I think you are describing your own personal reality then the reality at large. Do women really control your life so much that you feel you are not in control of your own life? Can you cite an example for us to analyze?

Trying to make it personal doesn't improve your argument.

[–] zbyte64@awful.systems 1 points 1 day ago* (last edited 1 day ago) (1 children)

If you want to argue then address the first three sentences rebutting your argument. If you want to express your feelings you address the personal. I gave you both options and you chose the latter. Consider me your free internet schizo therapist.

After the personal attacks, you aren't worth explaining anything to.

[–] zbyte64@awful.systems 1 points 1 day ago* (last edited 1 day ago)

Thank you for explaining that to me and expressing how you feel.
