You’re getting downvoted, but I’m in the exact same position. Car made in 2021, no connectivity at all. I cannot start it remotely - why would you do that? Is it really more convenient than turning a key or pressing a button once seated? I guess people really do like it, I just find it hard to imagine.
Starting the climate control from a distance sounds comfortable, the first few moments of driving can be too hot or cold.
I don’t have a built-in GPS, but if there was one I don’t see a benefit of using my phone to control it.

Flying cars sure turned out differently than we imagined in sci-fi.
McAfee has always been more of an advertising application than antivirus. A free version would constantly try to scare you into buying it. A paid version always reminds you that you could be paying more to clean your PC, including showing perfectly normal settings as “potentially unwanted“. Even if you pay for all the bells and whistles, you’ll need to click away constant reminders of how good a job it is doing at protecting you.
But, to be fair, the other big names do exactly the same.
Far from it. I think you vastly underestimate how many books have been published, and in what small quantities.
Estimates are around 15% of books is digitised, and less than a third of that is searchable. I’m guessing a small fraction of that is torrentable (yes that’s a word I just made up).
And all at the same time, with nothing the rest of the year.
You can still visit - and scrape - the new Reddit without logging in, so the scraping is obviously just an excuse for what everyone saw coming from the start: the gradual complete shutdown of old Reddit.
