It's quite fine; who uses Facebook nowadays?

Yay! Great investment. Totally worth the buck.

I might be misreading your comment, but I kinda want to be a bit on defence here. I apologise if my comment is misplaced.

Some people migrate because they genuinely want to live elsewhere. I'm from Russia and migrated to Germany for family, but before that I also lived in other countries. The reason was not because living in Moscow was bad (years ago before the current war, it wasn't), but because it's exciting to embrace new cultures and maybe fall in love with a city and its people on another part of the Earth.

Similarly, a few of my German friends migrated to the US, UK, Spain and Southeast Asia because they followed their hearts, not because they can't make a living at home... And a couple of my American buddies now live in Germany. Is it that bad? Do the foreigners really bring thar much unrest?

I think the mood changed significantly in the last decade. Now everyone is seen as a part of evil mass of immigrants. (And more often than not, racism plays a significant role in those discussions. the darker the skin, the least welcomed people are).

I believe the commenter meant that the price of medical care in the USA push people to extensively rely on AI (or online communities btw), not that Americans are especially gullible or prone to AI psychosis.

Very nice! I need Windows unfortunately for software, but when I get a new machine for professional stuff, my old one defs goes Mint:) Just needed more buffer time to save money!

I genuinely don't understand how does this whole situation benefit stakeholders. Do they plan to cash out big before the bubble bursts?

Not sure there's much to kill there...

In the recent years, Mamdani was the best thing I've read in news.

I wish we would stop using smart to describe surveillance technology. Smart sounds nicez but there's nothing smart about it...

The algorithm ruined it for me. Insta was once so great to keep up and share updates with friends; I've no interest in interacting with strangers shoved down my throat unprompted.

I'm not.an American, but I'm sure the sentiment is universal!

I'm sure it's still possible for humans to moderate paid adds content, its a small part of the overall traffic volume.

I use Qobuz now, and they are great, with human-curated playlists and suggestions. So far, I love it.
