I find the funniest part about this case is that flock has detailed logs on everything he did. Who could have guessed that the company dedicated to spying on everyone without a warrant would also be spying on the cops using the service? You wanna take bets on whether or not his usage was used to train an AI?

Ubuntu has dropped off a cliff in Linux market share. Fedora serves as a near-replacement in UX, and there are some distros that are so optimized as "pre-configured", they left it in the dust, to say nothing of how Canonical keeps trying to make Ubuntu worse. It used to be famously "Debian but easy", but now just using Debian sounds like way less of a hassle.
I use mine on Verizon, but it gives 4G only. It's unlocked, so you can switch anytime.

I tried that once with a Dell LaserJet. Managing printer drivers was a nightmare, and every time I plugged it in, the lights flickered. Eventually I got rid of it because the hassle wasn't worth the effort.
On the one hand, I'm really excited about this because the printer industry is literally the worst. On the other hand, I haven't printed anything for years, I probably won't use it much/ever.
But at least you could still afford them in the 90s, and even have the money to electively buy snack sized cans of nuts in the first place.
That's actually a pretty good summary of the plot.
