Hell, the music player app I use on my phone ( auxio ) just recently changed a UI component that I now hate to death. Scroll down a list and you'd see a scrollbar, which is usually faster for my over 500 songs. When you'd use the scrollbar, it used to display a square with whatever letter you are on in your list. They replaced it with a horrific spinny gear looking thing! Very first world problem, I know, but I absolutely hate it!

Or is it all posturing to get praised?

That's exactly what I was thinking. Wouldn't be surprised to see a not to far off future where they obtain the rights to put all the old comics on a paid service while also making any new comics digital exclusive, thus disproving their alleged care for physical media.

Yeah, the day the manga industry allows the use of genAI, I hope literally every manga company who decides to allow it goes bankrupt immediately. If you don't actually care about art ( AKA don't use genAI whatsoever ), you don't deserve to survive off of a creative endeavor.

Who xares whether it's better or not. A dumpster fire is still a dumlster fire no matter who made it or how big it is.

I don't know much about it at all and cannot find much, but I have recently heard of Kamtape. The site has the look of July 2005, apparently, but I think it might go the way of most every other noncorporate video platform like Odysee and Rumble and start getting filled with unsavory people.

And unless Odysee has changed, we ain't got really any alternatives besides just blocking ads or Peertube. Even then, it would be real hard to get creators to move onto either platform for not wanting to deal with a site where slurs can be reported but aren't guaranteed to be removed ( in the case of Odysee ) and payment isn't as guaranteed as it is with yt ( which is already shaky as all hell )

Cannot wait until Sony comes out with a study that shows 100% of gamers ( a small handful of people guaranteed not to care about pjydical media ) don't want it so they can gaslight tge general public into thinking nobody wants it.

From my understanding, higher ups weren't pleased with the first season because they wanted something more like 2000s The Batman, but with a teen/younger Batman. Something less BTAS and more marketable and enjoyable to a wide net of younger viewers, and having Batman take on corporate corruption isn't what they envisioned.

But yeah, season 1 with all the beef with Powers and corporate shenanigans going on was a welcome change of pace for a Batman character.

Okay, but where is schway? I know it is technically older than 90s, but Batman Beyond has cemented that word in my vocab. Even though I barely ever get a chance to use it.

I personally am not a fan of a lot of modern 2020s slang but chud is one I do get behind.

Did someone say creating fake news in masses to scare people away from genAI?

Count me in!

Okay, but multiplayer indie games, everything from Mecha Chameleon to Pratfall to Yap Yap to many more like them, are hits. Even if just temporarily, these games have had a huge impact on the multiplayer scene. Friends and strangers coming together to play games that are relatively cheap compared to their triple AAA counterpart, while also having a lot of fun over the wacky physics, nonsense, and/or trolling that may occur.

You don't need cross-game features when you have people you hardly know and fun friend games like any of the above mentioned and maybe a discord call if y'all ain't in the same room.

I hope this is a joke, because it's the most useful search engine I have ever used in the past decade.

Cannot speak for anyone else, but I have been having problems with my preferred SearXNG instances returning garbage results that have nothing to do with what I searched. Before anyone asks, no I am unable to self-host my own personal instance and don't feel like changing settings every time I close and reopen my browser.
